Today my film teacher had this to say to the class:

“Your all’s lives have been tainted.  You’ll never be able to watch a movie like a normal human being again.  You’re going to analyze every camera move, every sound cue, every eye-light, every cut and every line of dialogue.  You guys are sacrificing your lives.  A normal sleep schedule will not belong to you as long as you’re in this industry.  A night of more than five hours of sleep will be something to celebrate.  So then why do we do this to ourselves?  Is it worth it?  Yes.  Because we get to entertain people.  And that’s something you really can’t put a price on.”
