New Beginnings
It’s been a very long time since I’ve kept a blog. I used to write fairly often on my MySpace blog back in the day, but since launching Arandavision on my YouTube channel at the end of 2007, it hasn’t ever gotten near the top of my to-do list. But now, since I’m trying to take myself more seriously as an online content producer, I’ve set up this new place of bloggage.
I’ll be blogging here on a semi-regular basis. Hopefully some of you will find enough interest in my writings to stick around.
I spent many hours going through my old MySpace blogs and moving them over to this new site. Feel free to poke around through my archives of literature. There’s something like sixty four entries spanning the time from my first year of college through October of 2007. If you have time, leave a few comments here and there.
It’s odd to read things from up to five years ago and realize, in some instances, just how much my way of thinking has changed. Things I used to be concerned about now seem trivial and silly.
This is a good sign, though, for once you’ve lost the ability to change the way you look at the world, you’ve become irrelevant. People, societies, and humanity as a whole are in a state of constant change. Remaining stubbornly set in your current way of thinking puts you at great risk to end up left behind.
Keep an open mind. Welcome the opportunity to be proven wrong. Contrary to the way most of us think, being wrong is never a bad thing; it elevates you to a higher level of understanding.

looking forward to more from your blawg :]
Well stated and, im glad you are going for the gold :/ in online media because your works are some of my favorites. your sense of humor for example in your latest video ::throws hat in ring:: really connects to me :) and your insight with politics & philosophy pull me in. So thank you Michael Aranda for inspiring me without having to do so.

I fail wrong youtube channel haha but once again keep on keeping on
I stayed up until now to read all of your past “blawg” entries, knowing that I should be sleeping.
Completely worth it.
Great site this synemastudios.com and I am really pleased to see you have what I am actually looking for here and this this post is exactly what I am interested in. I shall be pleased to become a regular visitor :)
I couldn’t sleep so i decided to read all your blow entries, as many before me. Reading your blog made me see you in a different light. It made you seem more real, i mean that in the sense of.. seeing a person on television, and being able to get to know that person through the screen, but never know their thoughts. This blog is like looking at the world, through your eyes, and the view is amazing. Is that creepy? Gosh, i hope not. Some of the things you’ve written really opened my eyes, and changed me. It’s amazing to me that you’ve been able to change me, while i don’t know you, and you don’t know me. We’re both complete strangers. We could pass by each other on the street and you wouldn’t know i was a person you changed. Is that only amazing to me? I hope all my efforts in making this something you’d… think about weren’t wasted. And i hope i didn’t use amazing too much. It’s just.. i feel like i already know you, without you knowing me. Okay, now i’m getting semi-creepy, so on that note: I’m going to sleep. Night. (if you also read this at night), if not then, Good morning, afternoon, evening, etc.
Ugh, i put blow entries. Woops. ignore that and pretend i put blog.
I’m so glad you’ve got a blog.
Your videos are so inspiring and insightful.
:D
Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for posting.
“Remaining stubbornly set in your current way of thinking puts you at great risk to end up left behind.”
I guess that’s true, but how do we differentiate between being stubborn and remaining true to our moral values? For example, downloading movies illegally is pretty common place now, but that doesn’t mean it’s morally right. Is being left behind such a bad thing when the places that other people are going to aren’t the “right ones?”
